Recipe of the Month!

Pumpkin Spice Snickerdoodles

A fall twist on a classic! These cookies bring all the cozy flavors of October into one soft, chewy bite.

Recipe of the Month!

Ingredients:

½ cup unsalted butter, softened 1 cup sugar ⅓ cup pumpkin purée 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour ¼ tsp baking powder ¼ tsp baking soda ½ tsp cream of tartar ½ tsp salt 1 ½ tsp cinnamon ½ tsp nutmeg

Cinnamon-Sugar Coating: ¼ cup sugar 1 tsp cinnamon ¼ tsp nutmeg

½ tsp ground cloves ¼ tsp ground ginger

Recipe of the Month!

Instructions:

1.Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 2.In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in pumpkin purée and vanilla. 3.In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cream of tartar, salt, and spices. 4.Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture until dough forms. 5.In a small bowl, mix sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg for the coating. 6.Roll dough into tablespoon-sized balls, coat in the cinnamon- sugar mixture, and place on baking sheet. 7.Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are set but centers are soft. 8.Cool slightly, then enjoy with a mug of hot apple cider or coffee.

Tip: Double the batch — these disappear quickly!
