Prime Guard Filter Warranty All Prime Guard filters are warrantied against manufacturer defects in workmanship, design and materials. Use of Prime Guard filters will not void new car warranties.
Why Should You Use Prime Guard Oil Filters?
• FILTER INBOARD SEAM Double lock seam prevents any leakage between the threaded base plate and filter can. • SPIRAL CENTER TUBE Tin plated steel is used for maximum flow and structural strength. • RELIEF-SAFETY VALVE Designed to by-pass oil flow if media element were to be blocked. • COIL SPRING Steel tension spring holds filter element against the cartridge to prevent leaks and maintain the filter cartridge in place. • ANTI-DRAIN BACK VALVE The nitrile seal check valve prevents any reverse draining of filter from engine when required by O.E. specs. • FILTER HOUSING All filters are 0.5mm or more in thickness to withstand any excessive pressure build up. Outside filter paint process prevents rust and corrosion.
• LEAK TESTED All filters are individually leak tested and date stamped on top of the filter to insure quality. • END CAP / BASE PLATE Plastisol sealant used in all filter end caps to prevent leakage. Sealant is applied in a automated process to guarantee consistant application and performance. • SEALING GASKET Nitrile sealing gasket is used on all filters to securely seat the filter to the engine block to prevent any leakage. • FILTER MEDIA All filter media is designed for the highest filtration efficiency and to withstand any pressure surges or collapsing. • BASE PLATE Heavy-Gauge steel plate for maximum strength. Rolled thread design prevents any metal particles from entering filter during manufacturing process.
