A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT & CEO TRANSFORMING LIVES, COMMUNITIES AND FUTURES
Welcome to the latest edition of Mission Magazine, where we celebrate the people, programs, and partnerships that drive our mission—changing lives through education, training, and employment. While many know the Goodwill name, far fewer understand the full scope of our mission, which we work toward every day. This past quarter, we proudly hosted two graduations at The Excel Center®, bringing our total graduates since 2017 to 307. Each diploma represents perseverance, hard work, and the promise of a brighter future. The Academy at Goodwill continues to grow, with our “Big 4” programs—Pharmacy Technician, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, Welding, and Construction—helping meet Arkansas’ workforce needs. We are partnering with employers statewide to ensure our students don’t just earn certifications but also find meaningful employment opportunities. Since the start of 2025, our Last Mile to Work program has delivered 125 bicycles to employees, helping them overcome transportation barriers. We also reopened our Goodwill Resource Center and Outlet store in Rogers on June 1 after being closed for just over a year due to tornado damage and
celebrated the grand opening of our new Bentonville retail store and donation center location. The larger sales floor and expanded production area there will translate directly into more mission opportunities. Looking ahead, we’re excited for our 3rd annual
New Chenal store expected to open around the new year.
Gala for Good on October 11—a night to celebrate the mission we share. We’re also making progress on our new Chenal retail and donation center, which will soon help fuel our programs even further. Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Together, we are building stronger communities and changing lives across Arkansas. Brian F. Marsh, President & CEO Goodwill Industries of Arkansas, Inc.
