Benton & Bryant kickoff 2025 season with 8th annual salt bowl donation competition Goodwill Industries of Arkansas proudly hosted the 8th annual Salt Bowl Dona- tion Competition between Benton and Bryant. Together, the schools collected nearly 50,000 pounds of donations. Bry- ant claimed the trophy and top prize, but both districts earned support for fami- lies—demonstrating community spirit and Goodwill’s mission in action.

Funds raised from your donations stay in Arkansas and fund job training programs, careers services, and more programs to help Arkansans overcome barriers to employment. Goodwill Industries International (GII) is based in Rockville, Maryland, and has a net- work of more than 150 community-based, autonomous Goodwill organizations in the United States, Canada and 12 other coun- tries. To meet the needs of each individual community, each Goodwill organization de- signs its own structure, programs, and ser- vices to help serve the people who live near the place they work. Goodwill Industries of Arkansas proudly reopened its Rogers Goodwill Resource Cen- ter and Outlet on May 28—nearly one year to the day after tornado damage forced its closure. This milestone restores vital mission services in Northwest Arkansas. On July 10, Goodwill opened its new Bentonville retail store and donation center, featuring a larger sales floor and production area. Together, these openings strengthen our ability to serve the community, create jobs, and fund programs that change lives.
