meet our 2025 achiever of the year, norma medina ramirez
“I still can’t believe it,” said Norma Medina Ramirez when asked about how she felt being honored at the gala. She start- ed her journey at Goodwill as a student in The Excel Center. “Before Goodwill, I wasn’t very positive,” said Norma. “I think me not having my high school diploma stopped me from doing a lot of things.” After gradua- tion, she was hired as an Excel Center receptionist and current- ly works as The Academy IT In- structor while studying to earn her Bachelor’s degree in IT at Western Governors University. “Goodwill has taught me that no matter the situation you’re going through,” said Norma. “There’s always a solution.”
