28TH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2020
Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, the Club’s 28th Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held online via the Zoom platform on 24 July 2020, 7.30pm. The meeting was adjourned for half an hour, as there were only 50 voting members, which was insufficient to form the required quorum of 250 voting members. The meeting started proper at 8.01pmwith 93 voting members. After themainitemsontheAgendawereconcluded, resultsof theelectionheldearlierwereannounced. Members were able to cast their votes electronically or physically by dropping the votes into a secure voting box located at the Club’s reception. The votes were counted a few hours before the AGM in the presence of 2 members who acted as witnesses.
