Welcome to the 7P Ranch 50 th Annual Production Sale. We would like to start by letting you know how much we appreciate your interest in our cattle. This year we are offering black and red purebred Simmental and SimAngus bulls and bred females. The bulls offered are from 13 to 25 months old. All bulls that are 14 months of age or older have been fertility tested. All fertility test on the bulls and pregnancy status on all 7P females offered will be determined by our licensed veterinarian, Dr. Adam Byrd. Again, this year, we are offering 70 select black and red, Simmental and SimAngus females. This will include bred females and pairs. Also included will be a select group of 12 open yearling heifers. Six heifers will be purebred Simmental and six will be SimAngus. These heifers will be ready to breed in the fall. We will have a very nice set of 25 Simbrah females. All will be registered with the American Simmental Association and some are eligible to be Golden Certified by ABBA. All of these females will be bred to purebred Simmental and Angus bulls, except for the select group of 9 open yearling Simbrah heifers. Our breeding program consists of using a timed AI synchronization on all of our heifers and cows. After the females are inseminated once, they are observed until their next heat cycle, and we will AI those that come in heat a second time. Three to five days after their second cycle, we turn them in with the herd sires. Those females that do not have a second visualized heat cycle are turned in with the herd bulls and are not bred AI. We make every effort to call the due dates as correctly as possible. We are pleased to offer cattle from our friend Paul Bayer. Paul and his family share our commitment to producing good honest cattle. Everyone will be able to view the cattle on Friday afternoon, October 24, and the morning of sale day. Our sale day BBQ lunch will be served at 12:00 noon and the sale will begin at 1:00 pm . Again, welcome to 7P Ranch and sale.
