Dance COURSES
Ages 3 - 6
This class offers children a basis in both ballet and tap. 30 minutes of primary ballet (basic positions, body awareness, imagination based moving) followed by 30 minutes of tap (flaps, claps, stomps, enriching rhythms). Students need both ballet and tap shoes and dance attire (leotard and tights). This class is non-performing in the Fall. Students need both ballet and tap shoes and dance attire (leotards and tights). This class is non- performing in the Fall. Creative Movement is a joyful blend of movement exploration, socialization, imaginative play and skill building in dance for 3-4 year olds. Dancers should arrive in dance or yoga attire and ballet shoes. This class is non-performing in the Fall. Through music, song and the introduction of the ballet barre in a primary way, students will engage their bodies in new and fun ways while learning ballet basics. Dancers should wear dance attire (leotard and tights) and ballet shoes. This class is non-performing in the Fall.
