Ages 6 - 9
First class in the progression based foundations classes in ballet and modern. Ballet barre, ballet center with introduction to modern movement, exploration and discovery. Leotards and convertible tights and ballet shoes are required. Please note that students stay in foundations level for more than one year before moving into Foundations 3/4. This class will perform in December Holiday Show and has a costume fee (dancers keep their costumes). Code: DNC 07 Instructor: Olivia Anderson Location: Mansion, Upstairs Gallery Class Maximum: 10 Tuition: $375.00 Day/Time: Mondays, 3:30 - 4:30 PM Dates: August 12 - November 18 (13 Weeks) (Skips 9/2/24 and 10/14/24) FOUNDATIONS BALLET & MODERN 1/2 (AGES 6-8) First class in the progression based foundations classes in ballet and modern. Code: DNC 09 Instructor: Olivia Anderson Location: Samuel Goldman Retreat Class Maximum: 10 Tuition: $375.00 FOUNDATIONS BALLET & MODERN 1/2 (AGES 6-8) Building towards fluency in ballet terminology and body placement while adding release technique, floor work and modern dance phrases. Increased challenges in performance choreography. Leotards and convertible tights or leggings and ballet shoes are required. Please note that students stay in Foundations 3/4 for more than one year. This class prepares dancers to filter into the Prime Mover Company. This class performs in the December Holiday Show and has a costume fee (dancers keep their costumes). Code: DNC 10 Instructor: Han Myers Location: Mansion, Winter Living Room Class Maximum: 10 Tuition: $451.00 FOUNDATIONS BALLET & MODERN 3/4 (AGES 6-9) Day/Time: Saturdays, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM Dates: August 17 - November 23 (13 Weeks) (Skips 8/31/24 and 10/19/24)
