We will explore the thrills of twill in a gamp (a matrix of different patterns) with a twist. Students will thread their looms in multiple traditional twill groups that flank a more personalized twill threading. Multiple treadling strategies will be explored to create a twill reference, beautiful on its own and so useful for future design adventures. Students who have some prior weaving experiences are welcome in this class. Brand new weavers are encouraged to take the Weaving Introduction Workshop or Beginners Plus! Class.
