Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America (MHIA) is pleased to announce the promotion of Jon Rhoades to the role of Regional Sales Manager. Rhoades will now oversee sales across the Northeast U.S. and Canada, reporting directly to Christine Little, Director of Sales. Rhoades began his MHIA career as a Field Service Engineer, working hands-on with EVOL, MC100, and MPF machines — calibrating, troubleshooting, training, and au- diting performance in real-time with customers. That on-the-ground experience evolved into a broad- er strategic role as a Machinery Continuous Improvement Specialist. His ability to bridge technical expertise with business value has made him a trusted resource and a natural fit for sales. “Being on the ground with our customers and helping optimize their production processes has been incredibly rewarding,” shares Rhoades. “I’m excited to bring that same problem-solving mindset and customer focus into this new chapter in sales.” In his new role, Rhoades will succeed John Bacot, who is set to retire at the end of Q1 2026. “This promotion is well deserved,” said Little. “Jon brings deep field knowledge and commitment to customer success that will help grow our relationships in this region.”
