OF OUR PROCESSES At Qualico, structural steel fabrication begins with raw material preparation, where steel is produced in mills and delivered to be prepped to meet customer specifications. Using advanced cutting machines, these main materials are shaped to size while connection parts like plates and angles are being prepared. The cut and drilled pieces are then fit and welded into structural members such as beams, columns, trusses, or frames, following precise shop drawings. Once assembled, surfaces are cleaned, smoothed and coated for protection. Every fabricated component undergoes strict quality control to ensure it meets design and code requirements before being shipped to the construction site for final installation. An Overview
