This week has been an exciting and busy one here at the center! We were thrilled to welcome back our Tap Dance and Boogie Chair classes after their summer break and both returned with full classes ready to go. Our pickleball courts have been packed daily, with dozens of players coming out each morning and evening to join in the fun. It’s been incredible to see such a strong and growing community around the sport. On Thursday night, our volleyball program had an amazing turnout, filling the gym with energy, teamwork, and plenty of exciting matches. The atmosphere was electric, and we’re so proud to see this program continue to thrive! We can’t wait to keep this momentum going with more great programs and activities in the weeks ahead. JM Berlin Rotary Skate Park Last week at the J.M.B Rotary Skatepark we had a whopping 56 skateboarders and 18 BMXers enjoy the park!

This week was full of activity and strong participation across our programs. Pickleball continued to be a community favorite, with 111 players hitting the courts throughout the week. Our newest class, Stride & Stretch, is quickly becoming a standout, attracting an impressive 57 participants. This low-impact program combines walking intervals with guided stretching exercises, helping participants improve flexibility, balance, and overall mobility. It’s designed for all fitness levels and has already received great feedback from those looking for a fun, effective way to stay active. In addition, the Community Center hosted a special event presented by MDVIP featuring Dr. Fignar, who led an informative session on Gut Health. Attendees learned valuable insights into maintaining digestive wellness and supporting overall health.
