Port Charlotte Public Library Last Thursday, local comedian Sheena Reagan performed a 45 minute set for library patrons at Centennial Rec Center. Thank you to our hosting location for helping us out with this large crowd! On Saturday, we held the Port Charlotte kickoff of the Earn Your Wings partnership with the Florida International Airshow on Saturday with fun crafts, STEM experiments, and an aircraft scavenger hunt. Three early birds chose their books and earned their wings right away!
On September 4, 2025, we had our first session of In the Loop! Inspired by Crochet for a Cause, In the Loop invites patrons to still create for charity but also to create community connections. Patrons are able to work on items for Project Linus or can work on on personal creations. All the while getting tips and tricks from local knitters and crocheters!
