Government Contract Pricing (GCP) Summit The Government Contract Pricing (GCP) Summit will be held June 24–26 at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Ma- rina in San Diego, Calif. This three-day event is a platform for government contract pricing professionals to learn new trends and insights into contract pricing, collaborate on so- lutions for more efficient acquisition strategies, and grow professionally. Bolger Center in Potomac, Md. The program is designed specifically for Service-disabled and veteran-owned small businesses interested in entering or scaling in the federal marketplace. With a curriculum created and taught by industry and subject matter experts, VIP START aims to mitigate company risk and ensure that veterans are pro- curement-ready upon graduation. (Register here) 21st Century Radio Frequency and Free-Space Optical Technologies for Military Systems The Association of Old Crows, an organization for individu- als who have common interests in Electronic Warfare (EW), will host a complimentary webinar on June 26 entitled, “21st Century Radio Frequency (RF) and Free-Space Optical Tech- nologies for Military Systems.” Modern RF (microwave and millimeter-wave) systems, particularly radars and satellite communications, rely heavily on solid-state electronics, no- tably Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) and Gallium NitRide (GaN) transistors, and Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit (MMICs). Details concerning these technologies are cov- ered in this webinar. Active, electronically scanned arrays (AESA radars) and the Skynet6A military satellite network are described as important examples. The U.S. Space Force is also described. (Register here) The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers will host the 22nd International Conference on Ubiquitous Robots (UR) from June 30-July 3 at Texas A&M University in Col- lege Station, Texas. The conference unites researchers at the crossroads of multiple disciplines. UR 2025 welcomes attendees across the foundational UR community, including spectrum design, perception, manipulation, mobility, inter- face, and intelligence. IEEE Nuclear and Space Radiation Effects Conference

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers will con- vene the 2025 Nuclear and Space Radiation Effects Confer- ence (NSREC) July 14–18 in Nashville, Tenn. NSREC is an international forum for the presentation of research papers related to radiation effects in materials and electronic de- vices, circuits, and systems. Other topics include nuclear and space radiation effects on electronic and photonic ma- terials, devices, circuits, sensors, and systems. World Congress World Congress 2025, sponsored by the National Contract Management Association, will be held July 13–16 as a hybrid event, both in person and virtual, at the Gaylord Texas Resort and Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas. (Register here) AI Acquisition Forum The AI Acquisition Forum will take place July 23 at the Ap- pian Conference Center in McLean, Va. Government agen- cies’ use of AI requires that agencies manage the risks and performance and as well as govern and manage the process of acquiring AI. This was addressed by the Office of Man- agement and Budget (OMB) in its guidance, “Advancing the Responsible Acquisition of Artificial Intelligence in Govern- ment.” This forum is designed to update participants on the new OMB AI Procurement Executive Order and strengthen AI safety, security, privacy, and innovation in AI procure- ment. (Register here) INCOSE International Symposium The 35th offering of the Annual International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) International Symposium will be held July 26–31 at the Rogers Centre Ottawa in Ot- tawa, Ontario, Canada. This symposium will be a hybrid event, both in person and virtual. (Note that virtual registra- tion includes access to session broadcasts, eProceedings, recordings, and real-time private/group chats.)
