For GHOST PRINTERS use 160°C / 320°F for 90 seconds Make sure your metal item is not too thick. The press must be able to close. Place the metal item on the rubber pad Close press Remove the metal item and let it cool down completely Peel the paper off Bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 180°C
METAL SPORTS BOTTLES (FOR USE WITH THICK ELEMENT MUG PRESS) & ENAMEL MUGS
Preheat your mug press to 160°C / 320°F with an unprinted mug in the element Set the timer to 160 seconds For GHOST PRINTERS use 140°C / 285°F for 90 seconds TAKE THE LID OFF the sports bottle Place sports bottle/enamel mug to be printed into the mug press ensuring that the entire print is covered by the element when closed Use light to medium pressure (your bottle will buckle if pressure is too tight) Close press and start timer When timer goes off, remove the sports bottle/enamel mug with a cloth and place somewhere to cool down for about 1 minute DO NOT remove the Multitrans paper from the sports bottle/enamel mug Place in a bucket with luke warm water until completely cool Take the sports bottle out of the water and slowly and evenly peel the paper off Clean with rubbing alcohol if necessary Bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 180°C
* PLEASE NOTE that Multitrans CAN ’ T be printed TWICE ON THE GHOST PRINTER to add in a WHITE LAYER as the paper jams on the second pass. SHOULD YOU WISH TO DO FULL COLOUR ON ANY COLOUR BUT WHITE, THE WHITE LAYER MUST BE PRINTED on ONE PAGE and THE COLOUR LAYER MUST be printed on A SEPARATE PAGE OF MULTITRANS. The WHITE LAYER MUST BE TRANSFERRED TO THE OBJECT FIRST and then the paper with the COLOUR LAYER MUST BE ALIGNED WITH THE WHITE LAYER on the mug and the transfer process repeated.
