Beach Flag Warning System Mobile Airport Expansion Project
The Mobile International Airport (BFM) is un- dergoing a major expansion to enhance ac- cessibility and improve the travel experience for visitors to Alabama’s Gulf Coast. This ambi- tious project involves relocating commercial air service from Mobile Regional Airport to a more central, downtown location—making it easier and faster to reach Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, and Fort Morgan. Once completed, the new terminal will feature modern amenities, increased flight options, and faster connections to destinations across the U.S. Whether you’re flying in for a vacation or heading home, the improved airport infra- structure promises a smoother start and end to your coastal getaway.
