I have built some very good relationships and have come across some wonderful people in my journey as a sportsperson and as an actor. To name a few - my school coach Mr. VP Niroola who is a fatherly figure for me. My first director - Maqbool khan sir who gave me a confidence that I can act and who guided me during my initial days doing Diya Aur baati hum. My Malayalam film producer - Venu sir- who believed in me as a newcomer to play a main lead role opposite Mammootty sir in a high budgeted film like mamangam. What kept me going was being ambitious and hardworking and hope to find my light to shine. Of course, every career comes with it own set of challenges. Who or what was your major support in fighting against those challenges? QUESTION 12 People telling me how tall I am and I won’t get heroes to work with. People telling me that heroes have a big male ego and they would not work with an actor taller than them. Casting couch incidents which used to demotivate you mentally. Fighting against various odds off screen and on screen. Challenges have been there everyday. What kept me going is being clear what I want from life and my profession. Once you are clear with your path - things become easier. And all the bad is sidelined and the path to achieve your main goal becomes more clear. What were the challenges that were put forward you only to let you down? And how did you overcome it? QUESTION 13 I stay away from trolls and negative publicity. I am happy and content with it’s what I do and what I am doing. It doesn’t effect me anymore. You need to be mentally prepared for everything when you are in a profession where it’s very difficult to draw a line between your personal and professional life being a public figure. I’m glad I have not come across a lot of negativity from people. I like to keep it basic and simple and like to keep myself away from negative publicity. What is your take on the troll or bad publicity culture on social media? How do you manage the negativity thrown upon you? QUESTION 14
