Meet Alex Murray
Alex Murray has been a Realtor with Edina Realty, the market leader in real estate since 2013. With over 475 career homes sold across the Twin Cities, Alex is in the top 1% of Minnesota Realtors. She purchased her first home at the age of 21, which ignited her fire of passion for real estate. After selling homes only part-time while balancing a career in cosmetology, she quickly realized that helping people buy and sell real estate was not just a job, but a true passion. In 2017, she took the exciting but scary chance at a complete career change and has charged ahead with new aspirations and goals ever since. Alex married her husband Derek on the beautiful beach of Waimanalo Bay in Hawaii. Together, they have a son named Maxwell and two crazy Boxers, Toki & Richard. Alex and Derek have lived in Blaine together for over 10 years and own rental property in Blaine as well. Alex has a serious passion for health and fitness. Her morning routine is extremely important to her, and she sets the tone for each day by starting it out with a great workout. Most people carry work supplies in their work bags, but she can assure you hers is just filled with healthy snacks!
Alex has a unique fascination for Great White Sharks that stems from watching the movie Jaws at a young age. In fact, she owns quite the collection of shark & Jaws memorabilia. Of course, this collection wouldn’t be complete without a Jaws wine glass. Alex considers Derek a true master of BBQ. He is incredibly passionate about cooking and has so much fun learning new culinary tricks and techniques. Alex is at heart a sincerely passionate Realtor, mom and wife who loves life, her family, and helping people achieve their real estate goals.
