As we enjoy the fall season, we are excited to share a sneak peek at our upcoming schedule featuring programs for every viewer. From documentaries about local history, to spooky mysteries that are perfect for October, we’ve got you covered. Among our offerings is “Paradox,” a compelling TPT-produced film exploring the complex history of policing in Minneapolis premiering on October 21. Also debuting is “The Gold,” a magnificently produced mystery from “Masterpiece” that premieres on October 5. Inspired by the true story of Britain’s infamous 1983 Brink’s-Mat robbery—the largest of its kind—this crime drama is rich with tension, historical depth and stellar performances. PBS also returns with “Secrets of the Dead” featuring four enthralling new historical mysteries that continue to perplex scholars today: “The Rise & Fall of the Colosseum” on October 8; “Cleopatra’s Last Temple” on October 15; “Cracking the Queen’s Code” on October 22; and “Chasing the Plague” on October 29. I often end my notes with gratitude, and this month will be no different. Your membership empowers us to push through adversity and keep the programs and resources you depend on going strong. Our organization has faced some changes, including slimming down our monthly magazine to maximize your investment, but we are here to stay, thanks to your unwavering generosity. If you are interested in learning about another impactful way to support TPT for generations to come, please take a look at pages 4 and 5, which discuss National Estate Planning Awareness Week. We would be honored to be a part of your legacy.
