Footnotes: 1 Actual start date will vary with region. ²Foliar diseases: use a minimum water carrier volume of 2.0 gallons per 1,000 ft² is recommended. Use a flat fan air-induction nozzle that provides thorough plant coverage. ³Plant growth regulation: Apply Primo Maxx PGR at a rate of 0.125 fl-oz per 1,000 ft² every two weeks throughout the growth season. Application rates of Primo Maxx will vary with golf course. 4 Soil-borne diseases: Water-in fungicides with 0.1” irrigation. Watering-in should provide just enough water to move the fungicide off the leaf into the soil. Avoid putting on too much water, especially when the plant roots are near the surface. Make first application when soil temperature reaches 60-65°F at 2-inch depth. Use Spiio™ soil sensors to monitor site-specific temperatures for accurate timing of applications. Avoid nitrate-based fertilizers. Applying acidfying fertilizers as nitrogen sources and/or sulfur applications will lower soil pH and reduce summer patch pressure. Do not use a spreader sticker that may prevent movement off the leaves and into the soil. 5 Insecticide applications are based on insect development and will vary due to weather conditions and insect development. The initial applications for the control of Annual Bluegrass Weevil are based on the monitoring for adults, growing degree days and plant phenology. For all applications, visit WeevilTrak.com for proper timing. White Grubs (including Aphodius spp., Asiatic garden beetle, black turfgrass ataenius, European chafer, green June beetle, Japanese beetle, May/June beetles (Phyllophaga spp.), northern masked chafer, oriental beetle and southern masked chafer). Caterpillars including Fall Army Worm, Sod Webworm and Cutworm.
