Tin tiles were invented in America to create ceilings that mimicked homes of European aristocrats. Sheets of tin were hammered out in cast iron moulds and the finished product was painted to give the appearance of hand-carved plaster. Our reproduction tiles are not recommended for the ceiling, but do make a stunning vintage-look feature on walls and floors.
Suitable for interior walls and floors. Slip rating: R10, PTV +36 when wet These tiles are non-rectified, so to achieve a chequerboard effect, a 3mm grout joint is needed.
