scope of this ministry. All are included. Some need mission stations established in their midst. Others need spiritual food for the Christians. Others lack the necessities of life. Let us lift up our eyes and look on the fields to ascertain the need that is existent. Let us con sider the assets from heaven which are at our disposal and then seek grace from God to bring the blessing of God to the hearts of needy men and women. More men fail through lack of purpose than through lack of talent .—Billy Sun day

To go about doing good is God’s way of living. He compares the Christian to a vine which gives its grapes to the hungry; and to the olive tree or the fig tree which give their fruit for the needy. He compares the Christian to a garden of flowers distributing fragrance bounti fully to all who pass by. Christians more than all others should be in the business of doing good. Since our Lord sends His rain on every kind of people so we too should open our hearts and with lavish hands minister help to the needy wherever it is possible. We Should Do Good to Christians. Gal. 6:10. Believers (born - again Christians) form a separate unit in this world. They are a “chosen nation, a royal priesthood.” They are not of this world. They constitute the church of God. They are the temple of the Holy Spirit. They are a separated people unto the name of Jesus Christ. They should serve best among themselves. They should patron ize one another in business. They should fraternize in social life. They should plan for one another’s welfare and sup ply one another’s needs. They are a distinct entity which should edify itself and minister comfort to the entire body. We Should Do Good to the Unsaved. Matt. 5:44. Our Lord sends His rain and His sunshine on the unjust and the ungodly. In His temporal blessings, He does not distinguish between the saved and the lost. We, too, should extend our kind acts beyond the pale of the church and outside the sphere of our Christian fel lowship. With the good deed there should be the gospel ministry. The un saved need food and clothing. They also need the gospel and Jesus Christ. To give the temporary relief without the eternal remedy is tragic and has no permanent or eternal value. We Should Do Good to the Church. I Thess. 5:15. The church goes forward on two legs —go and give. The church must be sup ported by the gifts and the fellowship of the saints of God. Somebody must pay for the heat, the lights, the water, the caretaker, the secretary, the repairs, the books, the music, the services of the pastor. The home base must be well supplied if the foreign field is not to suffer. The expenses for the Sunday School must be met. The insurance must be paid. The pianos must be tuned. The saints of God must be visited. The poor must be helped and the sick must be encouraged. Let us not be slack in help ing this great work. We Should Do Good to the World. Matt. 5:45. The world is a big place. It embraces all races. There are none outside the
