A Quick Walk Through History Word of Life Florida began with a dona- tion of 500 acres in 1985. The Confer- ence Center welcomed the first guests in January 1990 and the Youth Camp opened six months later. Since then, lives have continued to be reached and changed for eternity. Thanks to the prayer and financial support of donors and the grace of God, The Build Campaign and the We Believe Campaign were launched to increase the effectiveness of the Florida campus even more.
