Undergraduate Affairs Issue (National Founders' Day)

When a Kappa commands a meeting of an on-campus organization, you can be sure he has been trained for leadership. He understands parliamentary procedure. He has a strong sense of committee work and how it supports an organization's overall objectives. He is confident when appearing before the Offices of Greek Life, Student Affairs, or the University President. He has his argu- ments ready, supported by analytics,

and even has a contingency plan. He is prepared. It's no wonder he is the chair of Interfraternity Council, the leader of the residence halls, the president of the Black Student Union or NPHC. He is also the president of the student body and the student member of the Board of Trustees. He is a campus leader. He is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi.

They have em- bodied Kappa Alpha Psi’s fundamental purpose. The importance of achieve- ment is demonstrated by their accomplishments on the grounds, yards or fields of their colleges and uni- versities. They have distinguished themselves in the halls, libraries, board rooms, am- pitheaters and offices.

of every distinguishing difference together under common purposes to edify their colleges, schools, centers and communities. These are brothers, who after graduation, will affili- ate with an alumni chapter and inspire their communi- ties as servant leaders and stewards of the futures of those who will come behind them. For their work and their continued promise of achievement, we salute them in this issue.
