The Gamma Pi Guide Right Program and the Natchez Alumni Chapters of Kappa Alpha Psi ® is a consortium of schools in rural southwest Mississippi. It encompasses the Natchez-Adams School District, Claiborne County, and Jefferson County school districts. Awarded ASU's NPHC Chapter of teh year, Community Service and Frater- nity Member of the Year Awards The Gamma Pi Chapter was awarded the “Who Runs the Yard” Award by the Alcorn State University National Pan Hellenic Council due to their outstand- ing academic achievements, community ser-vice and leadership on campus. The Chapter was also awarded the Commu- nity Service Award and Most Improved Fraternity Award for their numerous community service initiatives within the school and surrounding communities. In addition, Brother Cedric Anderson was awarded Fraternity Member of the Year Award. Brothers Thaddeus Mayberry Jr. and De’ Edwin Hawthorn were awarded the Alcorn’s NPHC “Caught You Caring Award.” The Chapter also received the Highest GPA Award at the Kappa Alpha Psi Fra- ternity Inc., 82 nd Southwestern Province Council Meeting in Plano, Texas. Student Athletes Honored for Aca- demic Achievement

Corey McCullough, Micah Walker, and Isaiah Thomas were honored as Wheaties Breakfast of Champions at the Alcorn Athletic Luncheon signify- ing Alcorn Stu-dent-Athletes who have maintained at least a 3.00 GPA. Corey, McCullough is a junior HPER major from Louisville, MS and a member of the Alcorn State University Football team. Isaiah Thomas is a junior native of Madison, MS is also a member of the Braves foot-ball team. Walker is a mem- ber of the Alcorn State University base- ball team and Personal Performance major from Dallas, Texas. Each Brother Received a commemorative Wheaties Breakfast of Champions cereal box fea- turing a group photo of the honorees.
