Please assist a deceased brother, his family, and Kappa Alpha Psi®. Please let the Grand Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi® know when a brother passes away. All chapters and brothers are requested to notify International Headquarters (IHQ) as soon as possible when a brother transitions to Chapter Invisible. Please use the below web address to notify IHQ: https://kapsi1911.formstack.com/forms/chapter_invisible_project All chapter Keeper of Records should bookmark the above web address. Please supply the following Information:
Correct spelling of the deceased brother’s name; Please include middle initial if known and suffix (Jr, Sr, II, III…)
Chapter and year of initiation in subject line of email;
Date and proof of death such as obituary, funeral program or death notice; Please upload a camera ready headshot , a photo or screenshot or supply a weblink to obituary
In turn, IHQ updates the deceased brother’s membership status as: Chapter Invisible. This action ensures the deceased brother’s name and chapter of initiation is included in the Grand Chapter Memorial Service where the Grand Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi® at Conclave recognizes all brothers that have transitioned to Chapter Invisible since the previous Grand Chapter Meeting. IHQ appreciates all chapters and brothers that provide timely notiication of a brother’s transition to the Chapter Invisible.
