Laurel Wreath Wearer and Grand Historian Emeritus. They are the two only living of the seven brothers to be bestowed with both awards. After the video tributes played, Grand Polemarch Battles, announced that earlier in the day, two scholar- ships were endowed in the names of both brothers by both the Foundation and the Fraternity in the amount of $10,000. The Southern and South- eastern Provinces each contributed $5,000 for a total of $15,000. Moved by the tribute and honored by the endowment, Brother Dr. Bryson announced that he would match his endowment!

Grand Lt. Strategus provided Felicita- tions. Thereafter, all hearts and minds were cleared to receive the reflections by Grand Historian Kevin P. Scott, as he presided over the tribute to the Found- ers: Elder Watson Diggs, Dr. Ezra Dee Alexander, Byron Kenneth Armstrong, Henry Tourner Asher, Marcus Peter Blakemore, Paul Waymond Caine, George Wesley Edmunds, Guy Levis Grant, Edward Giles Irvin and John Milton Lee. With our energy renewed, the brothers burnished the shield and prepared to re- enter the bitterness that awaited them in the spirit of Phi Nu Pi once again. Here’s to Kappa Alpha Psi!

The Grand Polemarch then led the brothers in raising funds through Mobile Cause for the United Negro College Fund and the Senior Kappa Affairs Endowment Fund. Cleveland Ferguson III, Esq., Kappa Alpha Psi ® Journal Editor, then intro- duced a video tribute to Dr. Ralph J. Bryson and Dr. C. W. Grant, made in collaboration with Fuse3 Advertising.
