National Founders’ Day Observance Yields a Diamond in Paradise

The photo was followed by a dinner of several dozen brothers that included the honoring of three alumni chapter members who have more than 50 years in the bond. Brothers William “Bill” Wallace - Spring 1965 Beta Eta Chapter, Frank “Pancho” Rahming - Fall 1968 Epsilon Mu and Paul “Breeze” Williams - Fall 1968 Epsilon Mu were ceremoniously presented with their Cream Kappa Jackets - reserved exclusively for brothers who have been in the frater- nity for more than five decades. During the dinner Brother Kyle Wal- kine was named “Brother of the Year” in recognition of his work in commu- nity service. This annual award was implemented a few years ago to honor brothers going above and beyond in the name of Kappa.
