Junior Grand Vice Polemarch: Christopher G. Cross (Lambda Pi 2016)

C hristopher Cross is a recent graduate of the University of Mississippi where he majored in Philosophy with a double minor in Public Policy Leadership and English. He is currently enrolled at the Candler School of Theology at Emory University working on a Masters of Theological Studies.

A Spring 2016 initiate of the University of Mississippi Chapter, the Lambda Pi of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc, Cross

currently serves as the 62 nd Junior Grand Vice Polemarch of Kappa Alpha Psi Fra- ternity Inc. Before this he served as a member of the South Central Province Board of Directors, a member of the South Central Province Expansion Committee. On the chapter level, Brother Cross has served as Vice Polemarch, MTA Chairman, and currently serves as Reclamation Chairman and Guide Right Chairman. Brother Cross is a 2016 Kappa Fellow of the Eta Class of the Undergraduate Leadership Institute. Brother Cross was also involved as a student leader on the campus of the University of Mississippi. Brother Cross served as Chief of Staff to the President of the Black Student Union, the first black President of the Ole Miss Student Alumni Council, member of the Ole Miss Wesley Foundation, member of the Ole Miss College Democrats, and a member of Associated Student Body Senate representing the NPHC. Brother Cross also was also a member of the Omicron Delta Kappa Senior Honor Society and the nationally ranked Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College. In his spare time Brother Cross conducts independent research and works on local and statewide campaigns in Mississippi. Along with being committed to the fundamental purpose of achievement, Brother Cross lives his life based on the teaching of Matthew 10:16, “I send you out as sheep amongst wolves, therefore be cunning as serpents, yet innocent as doves.”

Grand Board Member André Juwan Earls (Alpha Chi 2016)

A ndré Juwan Earls is currently a M.S.J. candidate at the Medill School of Journalism Northwestern University. An alum of Wiley College “Home of the Great Debaters” in Marshall, TX, André debated com- petitively in high school and college for seven years, earning a multitude of national honors during his stint. While serving as the Student Government Executive Vice President during his senior year, André graduated Wiley College in the spring of 2018 with a 4.0 GPA. ΦΝΠ

He was initiated into the Alpha Chi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi at Wiley Col- lege in the spring of 2016, and had the privilege of being confirmed as an Eta Class

Kappa Fellow of the fraternity’s Undergraduate Leadership Institute that summer. In addition to serving as a Grand Board Member for the greatest fraternity known to man, he is a noteworthy student ambassador. In October of 2016, he was appoint- ed as Wiley College’s sole representative for the White House Initiative’s HBCU All Star Program under the Obama adminis- tration. Before committing to Northwestern University to pursue his immediate dream of becoming a multimedia sports journalist, André had the privilege of interning as a digital content coordinator with the Washington Redskins. He hopes to continue writ- ing for the league in the near future. Amongst other things, André finds that his faith, his family, his football, and his fraternity are of utmost importance. His altruistic attitude and passion for public service is what lead him to Kappa; and, is what keeps him permanently grounded in the principles of Phi Nu Pi.
