Strategus Terrell T. Richardson (Gamma Delta 2016)

T errell Richardson is originally from Wilmington, North Carolina, and the son of Cherlyn Harris and Sylvester Richardson II. He is a first-year gradu- ate student in the Student Affairs Administration program at UNC Greensboro. Currently, Terrell works with UNC Greensboro’s Office of Intercultural Engagement, promoting collaboration among 31+ undergraduate organizations.

He was on the dean’s list since his first semester during his undergraduate matriculation. Terrell was an active volunteer in Wilmington, North Carolina as well as the Rowan-Salisbury community. He was a high school student intern for the Wilmington Police Department and established a neighborhood watch in the inner city. He is a former volunteer at Rowan Helping Ministries, Habitat for Humanity of Rowan County, Price Head Start, North Rowan Elementary School and Rufty Homes Senior Center. He served as the 2017-2018 President of the Student Government Association of Livingstone College. In addition to being a student scholar, he held membership in the following organizations, the Livingstone College Rotary Club, Social Work Action Group, Pre-Alumni Council, Phi Alpha and Alpha Kappa Mu Honor Societies, Livingstone NAACP, Active Minds, Gospel Choir. Terrell was named a Walton Fellow, by the UNCF-Walton K-12 Education Reform Fellowship. Terrell was placed in Wash- ington, D.C.at Friendship Public Charter School. His duties consisted of providing operational, logistical and planning support for all of Friendship’s academic and enrichment programs in the summer at all ten schools. As a component of this fellowship he worked with a team to develop a solution to address specific K-12 education issues in Washington D.C. Furthermore, Terrell was selected as a 2017 White House HBCU All Star Student Ambassador.

Terrell was initiated into the Gamma Delta Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, in 2016.

After graduation, he will study student affairs in higher education. One of his long term goals is to work with college access programs that serve first generation or low income students of color. “Many plans are in a man’s mind, But it is the Lord’s pur- pose that will stand.” Proverbs 19:21.

Lt. Strategus Nathaniel H. Girma (Lambda Nu 2016)

N athaniel H. Girma was born on November 12, 1997, in San Jose, California, where he lived his whole life. He and his sister were also the first generation of their family to be born in the United States. He identifies as Habesha due to the fact that both of his parents were born and raised in Ethiopia.

From a young age, he was raised in a household where academ- ics and family take precedence over everything. Similar to many immigrant families, his parents witnessed the first hand the opportunities a good education could make available in this country. He was also involved in various extracurricular activities such as piano, soccer, basketball and youth groups.

He is a 2016 initiate of the Santa Clara University Chapter, the Lambda Nu of Kappa Alpha Psi. On campus, he is in- volved in Igwebuike (BSU), and the collegiate chapter of 100 Black Men. Upon graduation, he will earn a master's degree in engineering management.
