hours of service support toward improv- ing communities and homes for Atlanta residents. Together, building upon their team strength and chapter structures, brothers landscaped and gardened the center grounds, washed service vehicles, and provided mentorship to area youth supported by the center. The remainder of the afternoon continued with a ses- sion on accessing and gaining admission to graduate and professional school, which was facilitated by Brother Dr. Christopher E. Johnson. And, following dinner, Kappa Alpha Psi Executive Di- rector John Burrell hosted an instructive workshop on the fraternity’s Member- ship Training Academy. More than halfway through the program, Wednesday served as a second day of professional training, this time with corporate partner Home Depot. The day was spent completely on-site at Home Depot corporate and store locations. Led by Executive Vice Presidents Tim Wilkerson and Derek Bottoms, brothers were first introduced to the structure and operations of the national do-it- yourself manufacturer and distributor. Additionally, ULI participants were given an inside look at the hiring pro-

Thursday was all about the money as brothers undertook a highly-restricted visit of Atlanta’s Federal Reserve Bank of America (FRBA) facility. Joined by senior executives of FRBA’s leader- ship team, ULI participants were given information about the federal banking system, financial careers, and leadership

In part, this perspective was provided by a panel of Kappa Alpha Psi members currently em- ployed by Home Depot, again reinforc- ing the importance of seizing leadership opportunities provided by the fraternity.
