LUMA Ice, Outdoor Skating Rink in Petaluma The City of Petaluma commemorated the opening of its first ice skating rink on Dec. 13. Located at the Petaluma Fairgrounds, 100 Fairgrounds Drive, the rink was open until Jan. 7.
The Grinch and Santa made guest appearances at the inaugural ice-skating rink.
For $5 per person, families were able to take a festive train ride around LUMA Ice at the Petaluma Fairgrounds.
For the less-experienced skaters there were skate helpers available to use on the ice.
