Each year, DEMA celebrates Diving Community Champions—DEMA Member dive businesses that go above and beyond their core business operations to create a lasting, positive impact on people, the environment, and their communities.
Some examples include:
Organizing beach clean-ups Using diving to teach history or underwater archaeology Promoting healthy lifestyles through aquatic education Protecting marine life or habitats Supporting veterans and individuals overcoming trauma Building inclusive communities through diving programs Organizing impactful local fundraisers And many, many more!
