town he told one of his servants to get a big bundle of grain and to follow him. The servant picked up a great big bundle and followed the Chief. Where do you suppose the Chief went? Yes, that’s right. He went straight to Zaba’s house! When he got there the Chief called out, “ Peace be unto you, Zaba!” Zaba heard the Chief’s voice and went out to the gatehouse to meet him.

Zaba answered, “ Yes, but you know that I follow the Lord Jesus Christ now.” “ I know you do, but Zaba, I want you to quit following Jesus. If you quit following Him I will give you a very good job. I will give you lots of money. You are an honest man. W e need honest men like you in our Mohammedan government.” “ Thank you, Chief,” Zaba an swered, “ but I am honest because I am a Christian.” “ I can give you everything you need, Zaba,” the Chief promised. “ Listen, Chief,” Zaba continued, “ let me tell you something. This morning my wife and I ate the very last of our grain. There wasn’t even one speck left. Not even enough to make any food for sup per. So we got down oh our knees and we asked the Lord Jesus to send us some grain. And look! The Lord Jesus sent you around with a bundle of grain for us. Do you think that we could quit following Him when He answers prayer like that?” The Chief knew that he was de feated. He thanked Zaba for visit ing with him and then told bim goodbye. When they got into the house the Chief said, “ Zaba, I have a bundle of grain to give to you.” Zaba answered, “ Thank you very much, Chief.” “ It is yours as a free gift,” the Chief continued. Zaba thanked him again. Zaba and the Chief sat down on mats and began to visit. They talked about the weather and about the harvest that would come next month. Finally the Chief said, “ Zaba, you know I am a Moham medan. You used to be one too.”

Adama got down and thanked the Lord Jesus for an swe r i ng p r a y e r and f o r g i v i ng them the chance to tell the Chief about Jesus. That’s why I’m so happy now.
