Brenda Pacarro serves as a Human Resources Business Partner – Training and Shareholder Development at Donlin Gold, supporting work- force development and career-pathway initia- tives for the region. She was the Shareholder and Descendant Programs Manager at Cook Inlet Region, Inc. from 2024 to 2026, and the Workforce and Shareholder Development Manager at Calista Corporation from 2010 to 2024.

Organizations interested in participating or receiv- ing the questionnaire are encouraged to contact the Donlin Gold workforce development team. Collaboration remains central to this approach. Donlin Gold continues recurring workforce coordi- nation meetings with Calista Corporation and The Kuskokwim Corporation to strengthen communi- cation, align workforce priorities and support local and shareholder hire opportunities. The company will also work collaboratively with contractors and subcontractors to foster strong workforce part- nerships, local engagement, safety alignment and

This effort includes evaluating projected workforce demand, available labor supply, work- force participation opportunities and potential workforce gaps over time to help support respon- sible, long-term development. As a part of this effort, Donlin Gold recently distributed a statewide training capacity ques- tionnaire to training providers, workforce orga- nizations, educational institutions and appren- ticeship programs across Alaska. The purpose of the questionnaire is to better understand current program offerings, training capacity, anticipat- ed growth opportunities, geographic reach and
