TRADITIONAL AND HYRID PROGRAM FORMATS AVAILABLE Radiologic Technology (X-ray) Christopher Stufflebean - Program Director/Advisor Joseph Robinson - Advisor Acceptance into the program is based upon grade-point averages, interviews, transcripts, and other evidence of potential for success in the program. Students must complete the course of study with a 2.0 GPA. The radiologic technology program at Southwestern Oklahoma State University is accredited by the national accrediting agency, the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT). Surgical Technology (ST) Following completion of the ST program, the student will be eligible to sit for a national certification exam. The Surgical Technology program will be offered in collaboration with Great Plains Regional Medical Center in Elk City, OK. All prerequisite and professional courses will be offered by SWOSU but the professional courses will be taught in Elk City. The Surgical Technology training program will be seeking accreditation with ARV/STSA in collaboration with the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
