Mental health awareness at Precision Cables
“A problem shared is a problem halved”. With this ethos in mind, Precision Cables has promoted a Wellness Seminar to employees to encourage open discussion and mental health awareness. The event was led by the charity AWARE, which delivers mental health and well-being programmes. Some of the topics covered were identifying warning signs of stress, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) tips for the workplace, and wellness at work. “The seminar was greatly received by all staff members and has sparked a conversation on mental health and warning signs”, commented Cathal Grace, Sales Director at Precision Cables. “Mental health is no longer a social stigma and should be discussed.”
