THE ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES CHARITIES PRESENTS… Wellbeing Talks from the EIC

T his year the Electrical Industries Charity is hosting a wellbeing series of inspirational speakers and leading experts in mental health, law and reliance. The series, which began in January, is uplifting and educational on a range of issues impacting our industry. The 50-minute virtual presentations are followed by 10 minutes of questions and answers facilitated by the Charity CEO, Tessa Ogle. Check out the dates and topics for the remaining 2022 Wellbeing Talks: Topic: Suicide Prevention Date & Time: Wednesday, September 7, 8:30am to 9:30am Presenter: Neil Laybourn Neil is a renowned and highly sought after health and wellbeing expert and public speaker, having been invited to deliver talks and seminars to hundreds of well-known brands and organisations worldwide. Topic: Women’s Health Month – Navigating Menopause Date & Time: Wednesday, October 5, 8:30am to 9:30am Empowering the industry to effectively manage the menopause, giving them key insights into the cause and symptoms, how to alleviate symptoms and gain the empathy required to support colleagues going through the change!

Topic: Men’s Health Month – Taboo Health Topics Date & Time: Wednesday, November 2, 8:30am to 9:30am Presenter: Dr Barbara Harkin Former GP and medical expert Dame Barbara Harkin is a much respected

technology speaker known for her roles in the management and governance of NHS England. Formerly Chief Executive of the East Midlands Strategic Health Authority, Barbara is a much sought after keynote speaker. Topic: Understanding Behavioural Patterns and Mental Health Date & Time: Wednesday, December 7, 8:30am to 9:30am Presenter: Charlie Webster Broadcaster, host and trustee of the London Youth Games, Charlie Webster is one of the most recognisable faces in the world of sport. She has made history as a journalist, becoming the first woman to present several prestigious sporting events.
