O ne of the most-awaited annual events in the industry, the Irish Electrical Benevolent Association Winter Ball, is finally back, and with a twist. This year, the event travels back in time to celebrate all the glitz from the Gatsby era with the “Roaring 20s” theme. Get ready to sport your favourite peaky blinder or rock a fringe flapper dress on November 18th at the Intercontinental Hotel in Dublin. The event will include a drinks reception and four-course dinner, and guests are more than encouraged to dance until the early hours of the morning to the music from The Beverly Boys. For those feeling lucky, the event will feature
prize draws and the Intercontinental Hotel will also be offering a room rate of €270 for two people quoting “IEBA Ball”. During the pandemic, IEBA was forced to cancel its fundraising events, which would normally raise around €60,000 each year to provide help for people in the electrical industry in need of assistance. Cel O’Reilly, President of the IEBA, makes an appeal to those interested in booking a table or sponsoring a prize at the ball. “We are still actively supporting families who need financial help. I am fully aware the past two years have been difficult for our electrical industry, but I would really appreciate your generosity and support for the IEBA.”
