aware of how to achieve it. I would say for me, success means creating value for my company and within myself, having notability within my industry, and continuously setting - and achieving - per - sonal goals. One personal goal of mine is to own and op - erate my own income proper - ties, both locally and abroad. What was the most de- fining moment for you? Becoming a mom. This may sound unrelated, but on the contrary, it was the most inspiring moment of my life. Being a mom drives me to not only create success for my company but for myself. It motivates me to set an example for my daughter that women in business are impactful, and it has taught me the importance of time management, work-life bal - ance, and setting a steady pace for personal and profes - sional growth. Who do you feel was most influential in your

life when choosing this profession? The two principals at my first job within the indus - try. When taking the job, I didn’t have any knowledge or experience in real estate. Thanks to their guidance and willingness to teach I grew a passion for this pro - fession. I have since learned and grown exponentially in my field and consider them great friends and career mentors to this day. What outside activities do you enjoy during you free time? Spending time with my family pool side or at the beach and trips to the park with my daughter. What inspiring word of advice would you give to a young executive gradu- ating from college today? Stay humble, and be open to guidance from senior colleagues as well as mentors in the indus - try. The best knowledge comes from experience. MAREJ

Throughout my life, watch - ing him conduct himself has helped me become the busi - ness woman that I am today. I value his guidance most and feel he has immensely contributed to my success thus far. ownership and the customer. I am passionate about build - ing relationships, helping my customers grow their business, and working with my team to create local and corporate success. What were some of your early goals and did anything happen to change them? I think when you are young, most people just have the goal of “being successful”. I’ve learned that over time, you develop a sense of what success is and become more
