What is the closest airport?
Exuma International Airport (GGT) , also known as George Town Airport , is the nearest airport to Baymahni Resort . It is approximately 11 miles away from government dock/Baymani and offers direct flights from: It is remarkably accessible to Baymahni. Not only are there direct flights to Georgetown, Bahamas, but there are also numerous connecting cities. Moreover, Baymahni is significantly closer to you than one might anticipate. • Atlanta, Georgia (ATL): Delta Air Lines operates daily direct flights between Atlanta and George Town. • Charlotte, North Carolina (CLT): American Airlines offers daily non-stop flights connecting Charlotte to George Town. • Fort Lauderdale, Florida (FLL): Silver Airways provides daily direct flights from Fort Lauderdale to George Town. • Miami, Florida (MIA): American Airlines operates multiple daily non-stop flights between Miami and George Town. • Nassau, Bahamas (NAS): Bahamasair offers daily direct flights linking Nassau to George Town. • Rock Sound, Bahamas (RSD): Bahamasair provides direct flights from Rock Sound to George Town, with frequency varying by season.

How do I get to and from the airport?
Upon arrival, guests take a 10-15 minute taxi ride from Exuma International Airport (GGT) to the George Town Government Dock . From there, Baymahni’s complimentary water taxi transports guests directly to the resort every 30 minutes from 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM .

Is car rental necessary, or are taxis sufficient?
Taxis are readily available , and Baymahni’s water taxi is the easiest way to access the resort. However, if guests wish to explore Great Exuma’s attractions , renting a car is recommended. Please be aware that Baymahni is located on an island with no vehicles. If you rent a vehicle to explore the mainland; the vehicle would need to be parked in Georgetown, The Bahamas. Concierge services can arrange car rentals upon request.
Can I bring my own boat to Baymahni?
Baymahni’s dock can accommodate up to eight boats on the lagoon side. However, the size of the boat is limited to vessels with a length of 32 feet or less and a low draft during low tide. Please contact us at info@baymahni.com if you would like to access our dock for your stay.

What types of bungalows are available?
Baymahni offers six different bungalow options designed to provide luxury, comfort, and breathtaking views :
Baymahni accommodations are meticulously appointed, equipped with all necessary amenities, and strategically positioned to offer breathtaking views of the pristine beach and lagoon. The numerous windows allow for the refreshing breeze, while the sunlight illuminates the space. Guests are conveniently located just a short distance from the renowned Exuma white sand beaches. Each villa is equipped with an outdoor shower, providing an immersive connection with nature.
Most bungalows are equipped with a connector unit, allowing families of three, four, and five to enjoy their own secluded beach and lagoon bungalows.
Our verandas serve as the focal point of our accommodations, offering ample space for seating and intimate areas that connect to your bungalow. These verandas are where guests typically spend a significant portion of their time. • Lagoon Bungalow (310 sq. ft. + 157 sq. ft. terrace) – Sleeps 2 adults + 1 child under 3 • Lagoon Bungalow with Extra Veranda (370 sq. ft. + 301 sq. ft. terrace) – Sleeps 2 adults + 2 children (ages 7-16 in loft) • Beach Bungalow (310 sq. ft. + 157 sq. ft. terrace) – Sleeps 2 adults + 1 child under 3 • Beach Bungalow with Extra Veranda (370 sq. ft. + 301 sq. ft. terrace) – Sleeps 2 adults + 2 children (ages 7-16 in loft) • Two-Bedroom Bungalow (877 sq. ft. + 244 sq. ft. terrace) – Sleeps 4 adults or 2 adults + 2 children • Connected Bungalows – Can be arranged to accommodate larger families or groups

• Baymahni will send out entertainment schedules before arrival. Week to week, Baymahni will activate restaurants, beaches, etc. with pop up entertainment
WHAT POOLS ARE AT BAYMAHNI?
• Flamingo Pool: A relaxation pool located in the center of the resort. This is the perfect spot to nap, read, or unwind in a daybed or cabana. It’s a quiet retreat from music and activity. This pool is also used before and after spa treatments and features crafted cocktails. A perfect Instagram-worthy setting.
