Surrey Ceremonies

Wotton House Hotel Since the 16th-century, Wotton House has been a cornerstone of the beautiful Surrey Hills tapestry. Steeped in history, the hotel was bought by the Evelyn family in 1579, and the beautiful gardens were created by avid botanist and Arbor-culturalist John Evelyn and his brother George with the Italian Renaissance in mind. The mystical temples and ornamental fountains have been admired for generations, set on 13 acres of Grade II-listed history, an ideal canvas for any explorer looking for an escape from the day-to-day.

Whether in the grand Old Library or the serene Italian gardens, every wedding is Wonderfully Wotton.

Blending history and romance, the Old Library’s Gothic stone windows and towering pillars create an intimate yet dramatic setting, while the gardens offer a timeless backdrop for vows and photos. Wedding breakfasts and evening celebrations take place in the Evelyn Suite, a bright and elegant space that effortlessly adapts to any wedding style. Overlooking the gardens, the room’s neutral tones and soft wooden panelling provide a warm, welcoming setting. As the evening unfolds, the lights lower, the music starts, and the celebrations continue late into the night.
