Social Justice, Human Rights and Conflict Transformation Minor Mission The mission of the Social Justice, Human Rights and Conflict Transformation minor at Biola is to equip students with the unique tools for advocacy that they will need to effectively engage in integral mission marked by both the proclamation and demonstration of the Gospel to the ’lost,’ the ’least’ and the ’last.’ The minor encourages participants to carefully consider how our proclamation has social consequences and our social involvement has evangelistic consequences. Curriculum Requirements A Social Justice, Human Rights and Conflict Transformation minor is offered with the completion of 18 credits of approved courses, 12 of which must be upper-division (excluding BBST 465); with an average grade of ’C’ or better.

The Secondary Education minor meets the majority of requirements for the California Preliminary Single Subject Teaching Credential.
