Thank you for taking the time to look through the offering of genetics. We are very excited to offer these bulls and heifer pairs to our customers and guests. What a year it's been to be a part of the cattle business ! We are thrilled that our customers and friends are experiencing a payoff for the dedication made daily to the beef business. We understand the work load and risk factors of the business were the same at low prices as they are at the highs, and we are proud to be part of this community of hard-working cattlemen and women. We too are counting our blessings and are optimistic for more good demand ahead. We are grateful to all of you who have made careful consideration and entrusted us to be part of your genetic decisions. We do not take that responsibility lightly, and we are working every day of the year to make our stock the kind that make positive lasting impacts to your operations and your bottom dollar. Our mindset in breeding these cattle has kept with the goal of selling problem-free genetics that can perform and work Big Picture . We expect our cattle to be able to calve on their own, weigh up in the fall, collect premiums on the grid, and have the structure, udder and maternal instincts to generate over and over again. We make a big portion of our living like most of you do - in the commercial beef business - so we expect our registered seedstock to hold to the same no-nonsense standards. The heterosis advantages offered in the Simmental and SimAngus genetics have proved to excel in these areas. We are so encouraged by the success of our repeat customers and the experiences they’ve shared with us. Many have been buying genetics from us for over a decade. New sire groups make this year's group a little more special for us. We are excited to offer the first sons of our new herd sires CLRS Lincoln, WINC Lawbreaker, as well as sons by past sale highlights Legendary Larry, Kickstart, and Lesson Learned. It's been a noticeable shift in the quality and predictability of our matings with these AI sires roaming the pastures and the familiarity of the genetics that back them up. Other new and some proven staples of our program round out this powerful set of bulls. We've tried to assemble large sire groups in many instances to help our customers with consistency of their calf crop and a gauge for quality. The registered heifer pairs are sure to be a sale highlight again this year. These females are cut right from the top of the deck of our replacement pen. It will be a bittersweet experience watching them find new homes come sale day. They will all have calved before sale day so plan to bring your new pair home. Many are donor- quality females with fresh genetics standing alongside. This sale and our operation wouldn’t be possible without all the great we help we have day in and day out. I’d like to start by thanking my wife for being our main hub in getting things done and done well. She's pulled in so many directions and still manages to be the best business partner, mom and wife we could ask for. It's been rewarding and pretty humbling how fast the kids are growing and become better helpers everyday. Our daily grind guys Brode Dennis and Zach Bies help to keep things running smoothly, and I am very appreciative of the work they do all year round. To all the family and neighbors that do so much to make this day possible we are very grateful. I’m happy that we are able to continue our sale collaboration with my parents and my brother Shelby and his family on the B2U side. Their genetic decisions and passion for the business are right in line with ours, and they are a big part of getting sale day to a reality.
