Best on best. That was the thought that came to mind when turning out Lincoln on our 834 donor, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Tremendous prospect that impresses us more each day. He’s got that smooth herd bull look from his sire, with the body shape and extra bells and whistles from his dam. He’s been hustling every day on gain as well with ratios of 114 WW and 106 YW. One that has the Big Picture balance for data with phenotype and performance to match. One we’ve been excited to present to the public since the time he hit the ground last spring. This bull is bred just a little different than the rest of the pen, but that just adds to his intrigue. We were very impressed with the JWC 2/F Living Proof 283L bull when he sold a few years back and mated him to 3 of our donors that spring. This is the only bull resulting from those matings, but you will be hearing from the rest of the sisters in the near future. He’s every bit as good on the hoof as his picture and video. A useful balance of birthweight and growth projections, paired with his impressive weight at weaning make him one that can be used successfully in both commercial and seedstock settings. He is backed by powerful cow families such as W/C Angel 7113E and our young K182 donor, a direct daughter of 834.
