The feeder industry is focused daily on trying to keep enough inventory around them, and I am not sure that we have ever seen such demand for the premium end of what is

offered. As we continue to push through with tight supply, the female side of this thing is going to get crazy. The demand for the kind that will work at all levels will be highly sought after. I personally do not see this cow herd rebuilding: the competition for land, the need of labor, and an older population of producers will all be factors as we move forward. As you have come to expect, this set of bulls has been challenged at every step of the production cycle and those that have made the cut have truly jumped through all the hoops. There are several new sire groups this year, allowing for some fresh genetic opportunity. We made the decision this year to print the book a tick earlier to get it out sooner, therefore you will notice the ultrasound measurements, REA/CWT calculations, and Carcass Epds are not included. We will provide a supplement that will have all this data included as we get closer to sale day. We have always prided ourselves on providing all possible data, allowing you to make selection decisions with no hidden pieces, and we will be happy to provide supplement sheet data to anyone upon request. Shannon and I count our blessings daily that we can raise our family in the livestock industry. The boys are growing way too quickly and we truly enjoy doing all things Livestock as a family. They have also kept us busy chasing sports practices and games, and we are blessed to live in a great community that supports our lifestyle. None of this is possible without a good crew that works hard every day to help produce a set of cattle that we are extremely proud of. We also could not do any of this without the unwavering support from such a great customer base.
