Geringer, Klink Mission & Learning Outcomes The purpose of these courses is to provide students with tools which will enable them to use the Greek and/or Hebrew languag- es in the study, interpretation and exposition of the Word of God and to prepare students for future graduate studies. Upon completion of 12 units of Greek or Hebrew, it is intended that the student will be able to read and translate the original text with accuracy using a standard lexicon and grammar, explain basic grammatical and syntactical features of the text, exegete a biblical text accurately and undertake individual research in biblical and related background material. Two years of Greek (BLGR101, 102, 201And 202) or two years of Hebrew (BLHE101, 102, 201And 202) will fulfill the general education foreign lan- guage requirement.
