Practical experience in English teaching, editing and/or research at the college level. Prerequisites: 100 or 110A; 110B; 220 or 230 or 251 or 252 or 281 or 282 or consent. Notes: Limited enrollment. 3 An individualized research project developed in consultation with a faculty advisor and approved by an English faculty committee which includes the department chair. Students completing the thesis must also participate in intensive GRE preparation. This course is required for those pursuing the Honors Graduate Studies Preparation track. Interested students should submit their qualifications and proposals to the course instructor whose approval is required for enrollment. Prerequisites: 100 or 110A; 100B; 3 of the following: 251, 252, 253, 281, 282, 283; 340, 360, 370, 390, and 400; senior–level standing; or consent. Senior Thesis
