Public Relations concentration students guided by the academic advisor, are urged to take this internship (JOUR 440) in a major media market, in a cross- cultural setting, or overseas. The students, in choosing electives, are encouraged to enroll in BUSN 230 as a general education elective, since it is a prerequisite to all marketing courses. Public Relations students also would be well served to enroll in additional business / marketing courses, including, but not limited to, Business 332. Students are also urged to explore the following Communication Studies electives: COMM 170, 181, 270, 385, 387.
